When a celebrity receives a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, it’s a big deal! And, when the Hollywood Walk of Fame Star ceremony takes place immediately out front of Hollywood Wax Museum, it’s an exciting day for our team as well! That’s exactly what happened this past Friday when Actor John Goodman received his Hollywood Walk of Fame Star.
Goodman first became a household name for his role as Dan Connor on the long-running sitcom Roseanne, and is currently starring in the hit movie “Kong: Skull Island.” His co-stars in the movie, Tom Hiddleston and Brie Larson, joined the ceremony and spent some time chatting with our crew as well.
Goodman’s “The Big Lebowski” co-star Jeff Bridges also joined the ceremony and had the crowd in stitches when he pulled out his iconic thick brown sweater to pay his tributes to Goodman in his “The Dude” character made famous in their film.
Our own Tej Sundher spent some time with Goodman and was impressed with the down-to-earth character of the superstar. Jeff Bridges too was a great sport, taking pictures with our own version of Kong and posing for selfies with our staff.
Our most sincere congratulations go out to Goodman and a big thank you to all of the celebrities and to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce for letting Hollywood Wax Museum be part of this amazing day!
